Recently I’ve been kind of more critical with where I go out to eat because of the weird experiences I’ve been having lately. Weird waiters, meh food and just overall unpleasant experiences. Thank goodness for Yelp though! I’ve been contributing on and off and now I am kind of hooked on it.
Yelp is a great place to find out new places to eat, as well as see what other people thought. Remember, if you own a business, the internet is really important to hold a good reputation, because it’s not very easy to get off search engine results if a bad review about your business should come up! It’s called reputation management!

After wondering what I wanted to do with this blog, I finally figured out what I wanted to do with it. Being a person who is trendy and a self proclaimed ‘geek,’ why not put the two together?
What makes me a geek? The computer and the internet is my life. I learn through Twitter, Google and Wikipedia. I think Hello Kitty and Tokidoki is so cute. I have an iPhone, a Mac, a DSLR, Flip video and constantly trying to complete my arsenal of technology. I have an open mind about the technology that is out there, even though I’m not a programming geek (but I do have a short lived background in it).
I love geeky shirts that promote cool websites. I like geeky shirts that say geeky things. And I’m a dork.
